Chess in Berlin

Submit a club or report an error

This form is for a chess club, tournament, youth group or other chess place in Berlin or a nearby town that is not listed yet, or for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches and organisers are all welcome to write.

The most useful thing to send is a link: a club page, a calendar notice, a dated report. Notes are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the list updates.

What is your note about?
For a new place: which chess happens there, and on what day. For an error: the line of the entry that is wrong.
A web address, a calendar notice or a post where it can be seen.
Only so the note has a sender; your name is never shown on the site.
A phone number or messenger, if you would rather not give an email address.

Please leave at least one contact, an email or another one. It stays private and is used only if a question comes up.

How the content of this form is handled is explained under data protection.

What happens next

  • Your note waits with all the others until the list is next revised.
  • It is then compared with the club's or organiser's own pages; where they confirm it, the entry changes and the date goes into the list updates.
  • Where no page backs it up, the entry stays as it is and keeps any unconfirmed mark it has.
  • An answer comes only if you ask for one and give a contact.
